Self Promo #4

September 24, 2008

This is my 4th self promotional photograph for Photographic Illustration. It was my first real crack at interiors so I’m fairly pleased. I look forward to trying out more shots like this. Balancing existing light with added light was a welcome change from studio work.

Here is an image I submitted for my 1st semester portfolio. I still prefer the hand-printed version.. but I suppose this will have to suffice.

Here is my second self-promotional photo for PHO 215 Photographic Illustration.

Self-Promo #1

Here is the first of my self-promotional photos for PHO 215 Photographic Illustration. I was fond of the Leaf Aptus Camera that I used for this shot. Shooting tethered was an interesting experience.

Crackers shooting Crackers

September 2, 2008

I was given an assignment last week to draw an advertising sketch for a product of our choosing. I was then to swap sketches with a fellow Commercial Photography student and shoot said sketch. The following image is the result of that assignment. I feel like the POV could be bit stronger and the background a bit better, but it is a fairly close representation of the drawing I received, which was the point after-all. Don’t mind me, I’m never satisfied with any image I create.

Greetings Web Addicts,

This is my latest and greatest assignment for my digital imaging class at RCC. It was a doozy. I have put the “before” shot in so you could see what I had to start with for this glorious project. I think it turned out fairly well, but as in all things…. there’s always room for improvement.

Live Long and Prosper,
